Roads do have icy spots and so far the early portion of the rush hour has produced a handful of spin outs.

In the past few minutes, here is where motorists have had trouble:

Westbound 494 at Hwy. 110 in Mendota Heights. Vehicle partially blocking left lane.

Southbound 35E at I-94 in St. Paul. Vehicle off on the right shoulder.

Northbound 35E near Tart Lake Road. Vehicle in the center median.

Eastbound 94 at 95th Avenue in Maple Grove. Vehicles off on the right shoulder on the bottom of the entrance ramp.
