Today was to have been the day that traffic on I-35E through Burnsville and Eagan was to have been shifted from the northbound lanes to the southbound lanes. The work zone that is currently in place from County Road 42 up to Cedar Avenue was to have been extended to Diffley Road.

All that has been put off until next Thursday, July 25. The new lane configuration will go into effect then. At that time, ramps from northbound 35E to Cedar Avenue will be closed.

One other closure of note that is in effect. Riverview Road in Eden Prairie, between Hennepin Town Road and Parker Drive, is now closed due to flooding at the Purgatory Creek crossing which has caused road instability. This section of Riverview Road will be closed until further notice.
