Motorists who use I-35E in Eagan will find that traffic has now been switched from the southbound lanes to the northbound lanes between the Burnsville split and Cedar Avenue.

That section of freeway is a single lane in each direction through July 22. With the switch, the ramp to County Road 11 is now closed.

Coming up on Wednesday, the McAndrews Road bridge over 35E will close for two weeks for repairs and to allow MnDOT crews to install a new railing. A signed detour will be in place.

At the present moment, all seem to be adjusting well to the new configuration. No delays or problems there.

In the north metro, look for three vehicles on the right shoulder on eastbound 694 at 35W. One of the vehicles left the road and plowed through an exit sign.
