Overnight road work has been slow in lifting on westbound 494 at Lyndale Avenue. The freeway is still down to two lanes.
A driver has crashed into a tree and vehicle is on fire on the 1900 block of 49th Avenue N.
On 694 through the work zone in Brooklyn Center and Fridley, things are building between Hwy. 252 and Central Avenue.
