5:40 a.m. update: Road work on 494 wrapping up for the night

The overnight road work on 494 through Bloomington is wrapping up, and most lanes between 24th Avenue and Hwy. 100 are now open, or will be shortly.

The overnight road work on 494 through Bloomington is wrapping up, and most lanes between 24th Avenue and Hwy. 100 are now open, or will be shortly.

Elsewhere, we have light levels of traffic on the metro system so no delays of significance.

Outside the metro, eastbound 94 is closed near Alexandria, Minn. due to a semitrailer truck that rolled over. Motorists are being re-routed on Hwy. 29 through Alexandria to Osakis on old Hwy. 27.
