5:40 a.m. update: Nicollet Avenue paving project nears completion

The word from the City of Minneapolis is that lane striping and sealing of contraction joints along Nicollet Avenue between 40th Street and 36th Street will begin Friday.

The word from the City of Minneapolis is that lane striping and sealing of contraction joints along Nicollet Avenue between 40th Street and 36th Street will begin Friday.

Over the next few days, the orange construction sinage will start to disappear as the paving project wraps up. Crews will continue to work on street lighting and traffic lights along with streetscaping.
