5:40 a.m. update: Hwy. 169 closure in southwest metro on tap for Wednesday

The left lane and shoulder of southbound Hwy. 169 between Marystown Road/County Road 15 and 130 Street West/Hwy. 41 to close at 6 a.m. Wednesday.

The left lane and shoulder of southbound Hwy. 169 between Marystown Road/County Road 15 and 130 Street West/Hwy. 41 to close at 6 a.m. Wednesday. The lane is scheduled to reopened by 4 p.m., the Minnesota Department of Transportation said.

The lane closure is necessary as crews prepare for overnight bridge work this weekend.

The work this weekend will require closing both southbound lanes beginning at 10 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The lanes will reopen each morning at 5 a.m.
