5:40 a.m. update: Hwy. 10 in Anoka could be heavier than normal today

With Ferry Street/Hwy. 47 closed this week for repair at the railroad crossing near the Anoka County Fairgrounds, many drivers used Armstrong Blvd. to cross the tracks. That brought extra traffic to eastbound Hwy. 10 yesterday.

With Ferry Street/Hwy. 47 closed this week for repair at the railroad crossing near the Anoka County Fairgrounds, many drivers used Armstrong Blvd. to cross the tracks. That brought extra traffic to eastbound Hwy. 10 yesterday.

We will see if that happens again today. Ferry Street will reopen next week.

Another closure of note, the ramp from westbound I-694 to Lexington Avenue in Arden Hills is closed until next Monday. Motorists should exit at Victoria Street to reach Lexington Avenue or use other alternate routes.
