The early portion of the rush is getting a bit more active with a couple of incidents reported in the past few minutes.

A crash involving two vehicles is blocking the left shoulder on northbound Hwy. 169 just prior to the I-94 interchange in Brooklyn Park. A pickup truck driver hit a guard rail. A second vehicle also is involved.

In the southeast metro, look for a broken down vehicle blocking a lane on westbound I-494 in the vicinity of 5th Avenue in South St. Paul.

And in downtown Minneapolis, the State Patrol is dealing with some kind of a traffic incident on westbound 94 in the vicinity of 3rd Avenue. So far that is not impacting traffic.
