5:40 a.m. update: Bunching up on 694

As expected, the jam ups on 694 have begun. It's not terrible yet, but westbound traffic slows between Main Street and Hwy. 252. The freeway is reduced to two lanes through there. Right now the delays are only a couple minutes.

Eastbound is wide open as lane restrictions have not gone into effect yet. But that will change as the week progresses, so be sure to stay tuned.

Elsewhere on the system, road work is not having much of an effect yet, but I'll be watching 35E and I-35 in the Lakeville and Burnsville area, along with the single lane work zone on Hwy. 169 between Crosstown and Hwy. 7.
