5:40 a.m. update: A nice flow on 35W and Hwy. 169

As it has been all week, the early portion of the rush has been a breeze for drivers on northbound 35W and northbound Hwy. 169 over the Minnesota River bridge, and that is the case today. However, in another 30 to 45 minutes, look for things to jam and drive times to rise.

As it has been all week, the early portion of the rush has been a breeze for drivers on northbound 35W and northbound Hwy. 169 over the Minnesota River bridge, and that is the case today. However, in another 30 to 45 minutes, look for things to jam and drive times to rise.

In the north metro, southbound 35E and 35W are moving swiftly from the Forest Lake Split into downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis respectively while westbound 94 through Woodbury into downtown St. Paul is wide open.
