5:35 a.m. update: Still reasonable on 694

It's early, and drivers on 694 in either direction are getting through the work zone without any delays. As we saw yesterday, that will change in the next 15 to 20 minutes.

It's early, and drivers on 694 in either direction are getting through the work zone without any delays. As we saw yesterday, that will change in the next 15 to 20 minutes.

One hotspot on the system at this hour is a crash on the right shoulder at eastbound Hwy. 10 and Foley Blvd. Coon Rapids.

Traffic is flowing well in two other work zones that have the potential to snarl things: No issues on northbound I-35 through Lakeville and along 35E in either direction between County Road 42 and Cedar Avenue.

Things also are fine for the moment on Hwy. 169 between Crosstown and Hwy. 7 where the highway is down to a single lane.
