With Hwy. 169 traffic now using the southbound lanes to cross the Bloomington Ferry Bridge, several ramps that are heavily used during the morning rush hour will be closed. They include:

  • Pioneer Trail
    • Old Shakopee Road
      • Hwy. 101
        • County Road 21 in Scott County

It will be interesting to see how this new configuration affects the traffic pattern. Many drivers might just stay on Hwy. 13 over to 35W since the ramp to 169 is shut down. I guess time will tell.

Traffic across the bridge is moving swiftly at this moment.
