Traffic is already backed up to near County Road 18. It's doubtful that line will get any shorter as the morning rush unfolds.

So much for advice to leave early if you want to avoid a traffic jam on northbound Hwy. 169 across the Bloomington Ferry Bridge.

Traffic is already backed up to near County Road 18. It's doubtful that line will get any shorter as the morning rush unfolds.

Look for heavier traffic on northbound 35W and eastbound Hwy. 13 as some drivers try to avoid Hwy. 169.

Another road closure of note: Hwy. 3 from 80th Street to Ann Marie Trail in Inver Grove Heights is closed until Aug. 11.
