5:30 a.m. update: Changing road conditions

As the wind picks up, roads and ramps are starting to freeze up. MnDOT has downgraded metro area roads to fair condition. Just south of the metro in places such as Elko, New Market, Northfield and Farmington roads are in difficult condition.

As the wind picks up, roads and ramps are starting to freeze up. MnDOT has downgraded metro area roads to fair condition. Just south of the metro in places such as Elko, New Market, Northfield and Farmington roads are in difficult condition.

A vehicle slid off the road on southbound I-35 at 210th Street in Lakeville. It landed in the median.
