5:30 a.m. update: All lanes open on 494 in Bloomington

Crews have finished overnight work on the Xerxes Avenue bridge.

The Xerxes Avenue bridge over 494 in Bloomington is taking shape. Last night crews installed beams over the eastbound lanes. They have finished their overnight work and all lanes are open.

Tonight, eastbound lanes will once again be reduced to a single lane with temporary closures of all lanes between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Thursday.
