A 49-year-old man from Buffalo died Saturday morning when he failed to stop for a stop sign and struck a semitrailer truck in a Benton County intersection, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The man, whose name has not been released, was headed north on County Road 7 in a 2002 Chevy TrailBlazer when he ran a stop sign at Hwy. 95 and struck a westbound semi. The crash happened at 10:32 a.m.
The semi driver, David A. Heim, 80, of St. Cloud, was not hurt.
No other details were available Saturday evening.
