Two winners are from Wayzata Central Middle School in Plymouth. They're eighth-grader Jenica Zhong and seventh-grader Daniel Qu.

The others are Utkarsh Koshti of Rosemount Middle School in Rosemount and Vincent Dzik of Capitol Hill Magnet in St. Paul. Both are in eighth grade.

They will compete in Washington, D.C., in May.
