3rd Street fly-over bridge closed in downtown Minneapolis

The 3rd Street fly-over bridge from northbound 35W has closed in the past few minutes and will remain closed until Sept. 22, MnDOT says.

The 3rd Street fly-over bridge from northbound 35W has closed in the past few minutes and will remain closed until Sept. 22, MnDOT says.

The reason, you guessed it: road work.

Commuters can still exit 35W at 3rd Street, but will have to use Washington Avenue to Chicago Avenue to get into downtown Minneapolis.
