A 3-year-old boy fell into a septic tank northeast of Duluth and was unconscious when rescuers got him out, authorities said Monday.
The incident occurred Sunday evening at a home in Duluth Township, about halfway up the North Shore toward Two Harbors, according to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office.
Mick Johnston was flown to a hospital in Duluth.
The pediatric intensive care unit at Essentia Health St. Mary's Children's Hospital said it was not releasing any information about the boy's condition.
