3-year-old boy who drowned in family pool in Wright County is ID'd

The medical examiner is calling the death accidental.

Authorities on Wednesday identified the 3-year-old who went under in the family's pool in Wright County and died.

Nolan J. Muonio died Sunday from accidental drowning, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office.

Authorities responded about 3 p.m. Friday to a call of an unconscious child in the pool at the home on the 1300 block of County Road 112 in Woodland Township.

Nolan was removed from the pool and received life­saving measures before authorities arrived and transported him to a Minneapolis hospital, where he died.
