Three people were wounded early Monday in a shooting outside the International House of Pancakes restaurant near the Mall of America, police said.
The shooting happened shortly after 3 a.m. in the IHOP parking lot, said Bloomington Police Cmdr. Mark Stehlik. Everyone shot will survive, and no arrests have been made, Stehlik said.
"It's clear that they knew each other," said Stehlik, referring to the people who were wounded and whoever is responsible for the shooting.
He said a party bus returning from a nightclub in Minneapolis arrived at the restaurant in the 2200 block of Killebrew Drive. Some of the occupants went in the restaurant; others remained in the parking lot. A vehicle pulled up, and shots were fired from that vehicle, he said.
Three people were wounded. One person had a slight wound that did not require hospitalization. Two others were more seriously hurt. One of them was shot multiple times.
Police said they have a vague description of the suspect vehicle. A surveillance video also may help authorities.
