At least three people died on Minnesota roads over the Memorial Day weekend, according to the State Patrol.

Late Monday afternoon, at least one person was killed about 4 miles north of Little Falls. The crash, which involved one person in a van and three in a car, occurred at Hwy. 10 and 190th Street. The patrol continues to investigate.

Jessica Parish-Olson, 24, of Waterville, Minn., was killed about 8 a.m. Saturday when her car struck a utility pole in Le Sueur County. Her 2-year-old son suffered noncritical injuries.

Landon Lien, 19, of Carlos, Minn., was killed just after 2 a.m. Saturday in Douglas County when the pickup he was in tried to pass a truck and rolled over. Jacob J. Dale, 18, of Alexandria, also in the pickup, suffered noncritical injuries.

Also Monday, the body of a 49-year-old man thought to be from Ely was found in a burning cabin on Greenstone Lake near Ely. Two departments responded but could not save the man, the Lake County sheriff's office said.

Elsewhere Monday, 11 people were rescued after a houseboat tipped over on the Mississippi River near Dresbach, Minn.
