Apple Valley defeated No. 3 seed Blaine 2-0.

Hudson Fasching's empty netter with 11.9 seconds left iced it after a strong late-game flurry by Blaine.

Aaron Gretz made 30 saves for the Eagles, many later on in the game on close-range chances by the Bengals.
