MILWAUKEE — Police are investigating the death of a 26-year-old Milwaukee man found dead on a homeowner's doorstep.
Milwaukee police say the man whose body was discovered Sunday morning died from an apparent gunshot wound. The name of the victim has not yet been released.
The homeowner says she didn't recognize the man and doesn't know how long his body was on the front steps of her home.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office says an autopsy will be conducted Monday.
Milwaukee police said no suspects were in custody in connection with the fatal shooting as of Sunday night.
