2010 EARMARK REQUESTS

Under new rules that require public disclosure on the Internet, Minnesota's U.S. House members have posted earmark requests totaling $580 million for fiscal year 2010, which starts Oct. 1. Of that sum, about $163 million is for national and regional programs.

Here are each member's largest district-based requests, along with links to their full earmark lists:

Tim Walz, D, 1st District:

$9.6 million, Minnesota National Guard, field maintenance facility in Mankato.

John Kline, R, 2nd District: (Does not take earmarks)

Erik Paulsen, R, 3rd District:

$6 million, MnDOT, reconstruction of Hwy. 169/I-494 Interchange.

Keith Ellison, D, 4th District:

$7 million, 934th Airlift Wing Air Force Reserve, aerial port facility at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

Betty McCollum, D, 5th District:

$4.45 million, city of Roseville, redevelopment of former industrial site in Twin Lakes area along I-35W.

Michele Bachmann, R, 6th District: (Does not take earmarks)

Jim Oberstar, D, 8th District:
