The eighth generation Honda Accord sedan is refined, dynamic and sophisticated. The 2008 version of the Accord grows in size and dimension complete with an expanded range of innovative technologies designed for more power, greater efficiency and enhanced safety.

In addition, the car's styling theme expresses a powerful presence with sharp and strong character lines.

The all-new Accord is available in LX, LX-P, EX and EX-L trim levels with base power generated by a 2.4L four-cylinder engine. The newly available 3.5L V-6 is the most powerful engine ever offered in a Honda vehicle. Beyond engine options, transmission choices include a standard five-speed manual gearbox or a five-speed automatic transmission, which is available as an option (standard on the V-6).

The Accord features a new generation of the automaker's Variable Cylinder Management technology. Depending on driving conditions, the engine operates on three, four or all six cylinders to help boost fuel economy or power as needed.

On the road, the Accord delivers a performance that is composed and responsive. Despite the increase in size, the Accord is as precise as ever.

Inside the airy passenger cabin, comfort, style and functionality are the watchwords in how displays, controls and switchgear interact with the driver and passengers. Honda designers call the Accord interior the "Simply Premium" design concept. Seating is comfortable, with plenty of room front and rear for four adults to ride in opulent comfort.

The dashboard is a case study in what Honda always seems to do best.

Safety features are plentiful: Dual front airbags, front seat-mounted side-impact airbags, side curtain airbags, vehicle stability assist with traction control, four-wheel disc brakes with anti-lock, brake assist, electronic brake force distribution, tire pressure monitoring system, daytime running lights, side-impact door beams, engine immobilizer, remote keyless entry and programmable automatic door locks. EX adds security system. EX V-6 adds fog lights. EX-L adds automatic headlamps. EX-L V-6 adds HomeLink remote system. Optional safety features include navigation system with voice recognition and Bluetooth HandsFreeLink.
