Audi's A5 successfully unites the acclaimed Audi design and impressive driving performance with the brand's characteristic quality and sophistication.

The performance edge of the all-wheel-drive A5 comes from a new 3.2L FSI V-6 engine that features an innovative valve gear and valve lift system. The result of the new system is an appreciable increase in engine efficiency. Power and throttle response are increased with a marked reduction in fuel consumption. Motorists have a choice between the standard six-speed manual or six-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.

The new coupe is a clear and uncommon statement of sportiness and elegance. For those looking for an even stronger sporting intent in the A5, the Audi S line offers an extra-dynamic look. The S line package consists of more distinctive front bumpers and rear sport seats, steering wheel and gear level in perforated leather, black headlining and special inlays.

Another completely reengineered component is the rack and pinion steering. It is located in front of the front axle close to the wheel center line and enhances the car's agile hand-ling by its direct transmission of the steering forces.

Inside the cabin, the automaker's reputation for excellence continues, with a long list of safety features, creature comforts and advanced technology. Rear seat passengers enjoy impressive accommodations. Displays, controls and switch gear are user-friendly, within reach and easy to operate. Motorists may further customize the A5 interior with the availability of luxury high-tech options.
