1 (39) Hank Sanchez, 1B, Mission Bay (San Diego) HS
Got a $900,000 signing bonus. Spent five seasons in the minors and never reached Class AA. He was suspended 50 games in 2009 for drug abuse and released. His baseball career ended at 22.
2 (54) Paul Kelly, SS, Flower Mound (Texas) HS
Got a $650,000 bonus. Battled injuries, playing only 164 games in six seasons in the minors. He played his final minor league game in 2011 in high Class A Fort Myers.
