No one was injured but about 20 people were displaced by a fire Sunday night at the Cedar Ridge Apartments in Minnetonka, authorities said.

The fire was confined to one building in the six-building complex near Cedar Lake Road and it left six units in the building uninhabitable, said Minnetonka Police Sgt. Michael Nelson.

He said that the fire was reported at 6:51 p.m. and that all residents were out of the building by the time emergency personnel arrived.

Firefighters from Minnetonka, Hopkins and St. Louis Park teamed to put out the blaze.
The fire started in one unit, Nelson said. The cause is under investigation.

Nelson said the American Red Cross was helping displaced residents find places to stay.
