Two men from the Twin Cities were killed and another was seriously injured in a rollover crash in western Wisconsin early Saturday, authorities said.

Officers responding to a report of an accident on County Road E in Baldwin Township around 5 a.m. found an overturned pickup truck in the ditch. Police pulled three men from the cab, according to the St. Croix County Sheriff's Office.

The driver, Eduardo Flores Saldivar, 32, and front-seat passenger Milton Everaldo Valenzuela Favela, 24, both of Minneapolis, died at the scene. Another passenger, Luis Nino De La Cruz, 38, is being treated for serious injuries at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.

Police said it appears that none of the occupants was wearing a seat belt and that speeding may have been a factor. Investigators are awaiting toxicology reports to determine whether alcohol was involved.

The crash marked the year's first traffic fatality in St. Croix County.
