2 men shot and wounded, crash car in Minneapolis

Two men are in the hospital after they were shot and then crashed their car into a south Minneapolis home Friday night, according to police.

According to a Tweet from Minneapolis police Sgt. William Palmer just before 10 p.m., two men were shot in a car that then crashed into a building at 1024 E. 36th St. According to city property records, the building is a multi-family home.

The men were taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center, where they are in stable condition, Palmer said. One suffered a gunshot wound to the head. The other was shot in the arm.

No arrests have been made.
