A motorcycle crashed on a freeway west of Minneapolis early Sunday afternoon, killing two people, authorities said.
The wreck occurred about 1:40 p.m. as the motorcycle was heading from Hwy. 100 to eastbound Interstate 394, according to the State Patrol. Killed were a man operating the motorcycle and his 58-year-old passenger, a woman from Somerset, Wis., the patrol added.
The motorcycle made contact with the left wall of the overpass, and both people were ejected over the wall, the State Patrol said.
The victims' identities are to be released at 8 a.m. Monday, the patrol said.
