A 26-year-old Farmington man died Sunday in a two-vehicle crash on Cedar Avenue in Apple Valley, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.

The rollover crash happened just before 6 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Cedar Avenue at McAndrews Road.

The State Patrol identified the dead man as Inoncencio Munoz-Gutierrez, a passenger in a GMC Savana southbound on Cedar when it lost control, hit a guardrail and went into the northbound lane, where it struck another vehicle.

The driver, Salomon Adorno of Farmington, was in critical condition. The three people in the other vehicle, a Chevy Tahoe, sustained minor or no injuries, the patrol said.

The patrol said conditions were foggy but did not indicate what role, if any, this played.

On Saturday night, a 22-year-old Minnesota man was killed in a crash near Prescott, Wis., after he drove under a semi-trailer truck, authorities said. He was identified as Matthew Douglas Amos of Cottage Grove. His passenger, Nancy Graves, 22, of St. Paul, was airlifted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul and treated for unknown injuries.

Amos died at the scene. He was driving north on County Road E when he failed to stop at an intersection and drove under the truck going east on Hwy. 10, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office. The truck driver was unhurt.
