2 dead in crash in northwestern Minnesota; 3 kids age 3 and younger were among passengers

State troopers were on the scene of a two-vehicle crash that killed two people late Saturday on U.S. Hwy. 59 and Pennington County Road 3 in far northwestern Minnesota.

Killed were a 33-year-old Fargo man driving a Toyota Camry and a 25-year-old female passenger from West Fargo, the Minnesota State Patrol. Also in the car was a 1-year-old boy.

Troopers said the westbound Toyota Camry went through a stop sign and was struck by a van that was southbound on Hwy. 59.

Three people from Andover were in the van, the State Patrol said: A 27-year-old woman who was driving as well as a 3-year-old boy and a baby boy. The collision occurred shortly before 8 p.m. on dry roads.

No other details were available Saturday night.
