Two brothers and a third man, all from St. Paul, were identified Wednesday as the people killed in a fiery traffic crash last week with a transit bus in Chisago County while they were on an ice fishing trip.
The collision occurred about 7:50 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Rush Point Drive and Clover Trail in Nessel Township, according to the Sheriff's Office.
The three men killed in their car were identified as Cheng Her, 33, and brothers Michael A. Lee, 31, and Everest T. Lee, 24.
A third brother, William Lee, said in a Facebook posting that the group was together for an ice fishing trip at the time of the crash.
Her, a friend of the Lee family, owned the car involved in the crash, but investigators have yet to confirm who was driving, the Sheriff's Office said.
There was no immediate word on the condition of the bus driver or whether anybody else was on the bus. Speed appears to have been a factor in the crash, the Sheriff's Office said.
