2 arrested in St. Paul shooting death

A St. Paul man's death has been ruled a homicide and several suspects have been arrested, police said Wednesday.

Evan Brown, 28, was found shot to death early Tuesday in the Dayton's Bluff neighborhood of St. Paul. An anonymous caller contacted police about 3:30 a.m. and said there was a dead man in the 800 block of E. 4th Street. Police found Brown with a gunshot wound.

Police have yet to say exactly where Brown was found.

A 24-year-old woman and 29-year-old man, both from St. Paul, have been arrested in connection with Brown's death. According to jail records, both the man and the woman were arrested at the same time Tuesday night at the same apartment.

Another St. Paul man, 39, was also arrested at the same place for suspicion of gun possession without a permit.
