Two people are in custody after Minneapolis police say they fired multiple shots into a taxicab on the Hennepin Avenue Bridge, injuring the driver early Friday morning.
Police were dispatched to the bridge just before 3 a.m., where they found the driver with multiple gunshot wounds. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover.
A man and woman were arrested Friday and formal charges are pending.
Police believe the driver was targeted in the drive-by shooting and say there is no threat to public safety.
