May 26, 2013 at 4:29AM

A 19-year-old man from Carlos, Minn., died on Interstate 94 in Douglas County early Saturday when the car he was in sideswiped a truck, lost control and rolled into the medium. The State Patrol said the victim, Landon Lien, wasn't wearing his seat belt when his car rolled from the I-94 westbound lanes.

Another man in the car, 18-year-old Jacob Dale from Alexandria, suffered noncritical injuries. The patrol isn't sure which man was the driver, but said Dale had been drinking.

The driver of the truck, a man from Mandan, N.D., wasn't injured.

The patrol said the car was passing the truck in the left lane when it sideswiped the truck. The pavement was wet at the time of the crash.
