A 16-year-old boy was in critical condition Saturday after being found lying in the parking lot of a Target store in Savage with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police were called to the store in the 14000 block of Hwy. 13 around 7:30 p.m. Friday, where they found the teenger semiconscious and breathing with a severe head wound.
He was taken to Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis, where he remained in critical condition Saturday.
Police are investigating with the help of the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the Scott County Sheriff's Office and Prior Lake and Shakopee police.
