If they build it, will they slide?

That's what the St. Paul Saints are hoping.

They've just finished building a 40-foot tall, 130-foot long snowslide at CHS Field as part of the menu of attractions St. Paul has on hand to attract attention and visitors during the Super Bowl.

The twin-track St. Paul Super Slide will send people plummeting on inner tubes from the upper level of the stands down onto field ending somewhere near second base. It will be open Jan. 25-Feb. 10, 5-9 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids and are good for unlimited rides for an hour long time slot. There will also be a man-made trout fishing pond on hand. Spectators are welcome to come for free. For more information or to buy tickets, see stpaulsuperslide.com or call the Saints at 651-644-6659.
