10:10 a.m. update: Miserable, that says it all

Traffic is not likely to improve for some time as icy conditions persist. Trucks and some vehicles can't get up ramps and inclines.

Traffic is not likely to improve for some time as icy conditions persist. Trucks and some vehicles can't get up ramps and inclines.

Here are current closures:

  • Northbound 35W at Johnson Street. Traffic diverted to New Brighton Blvd. exit.
    • Westbound 394 at Dunwoody. Time to check out Olson Memorial Hwy.
      • Eastbound 694 has 2 lanes closed at University Avenue. Traffic jams at Hwy. 100. Not many good alternates for this one. Westbound has trouble at Silver Lake Road.
        • Eastbound Hwy. 212 at Mitchell Road has two lanes blocked in Eden Prairie

          At last count, we have 22 accidents on the system. Take it easy out there
