A teenager died in a Dodge County crash Friday afternoon that injured three other teens and one adult, according to the State Patrol.

The 18-year-old male passenger from Dodge Center, Minn., died at the scene after being thrown from the vehicle after it ran off 275th Avenue north of County Road 5 about 4:15 p.m. and rolled in a ditch. Two teenage girls who were also ejected from the vehicle were injured. All three were unbelted passengers, authorities said.

The driver, a 17-year-old girl who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, along with the two other girls, ages 15 and 17. All three girls are from West Concord, Minn. Their conditions were not released late Friday.

The fifth person involved, a 21-year-old man from Blooming Prairie, Minn., was taken to Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wis., for treatment of noncritical injuries. The man, a relative of the driver, was the only passenger wearing a seat belt.

Alcohol does not appear to have been a factor in the crash, according to the State Patrol.
