2 men are killed in shooting at busy Minneapolis intersection

Gunshots at a busy south Minneapolis intersection killed two men, authorities said Sunday. No arrests have been made.

The bloodshed occurred about 10:20 p.m. Saturday near Franklin and Chicago avenues, according to police.

Officers arrived and found two men had been shot. Both were taken by ambulance to Hennepin County Medical Center, where one of them died early Sunday and the other in the afternoon, police said.

Authorities have yet to address a motive for the violence, and the identities of the two men shot have yet to be released.
