According to a notice posted within the app (first spotted by Deadspin), ESPN will discontinue its support for its live streaming video app on the Xbox 360 as of March 23. The app allows users to stream any ESPN program as it aired, with a cable or satellite service login.

ESPN will be continuing its support for the app on Xbox One.

The aging Xbox 360 has fallen from grace in the two-and-a-half years since its successor, the Xbox One, was launched in late 2013, as fewer and fewer new games have been released for it. Since Microsoft ended the requirement that users have an Xbox Live subscription to use streaming apps in 2014. However, the obsolete console has remained a capable media player a la the more petite Amazon Fire TV and and Roku devices.

In the realm of game consoles, the ESPN app had been exclusive to Xbox, but was recently added to the PlayStation Vue TV subscription service that can be viewed on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The app is widely available on nearly every other kind of platform, including Android and iOS devices, Chromecast, Roku, Amazon Fire and computers via a Web browser.
