It's in full swing - it's ice fishing time! We are very glad to say that we have between 11 and 14 inches of ice on Otter Tail Lake. We also just received 4 to 5 inches of snow - but that is about all we have - so it's very doable.

Walleyes have been biting in 17 to 22 feet range but are moving constantly so you have to be also.

Fatheads on a spoon or shiner on a red hook - dead stick setup. Panfish are coming around in the 14 to 18 foot of water on smaller lakes.

Perch are being caught in deeper water with the walleyes. As you know - we have nice perch on Otter Tail.

For shallow perch you will sort but have consistent action and can catch a nice meal or two.

Please be careful - it's still early season and we want you all to be safe. Give us a call with specific questions at Ken's Tackle - 218-495-2895. We are open 7 days a week. Monday-Thursday: 6:30 to 5:30. Friday & Saturday 6:30 to 6:00 and Sunday 6:30 to 4:00.

See you soon! Gary
