Two pedestrians have died after being stuck by vehicles in Minneapolis this week, police say.

A woman who was struck by a vehicle at 8:43 a.m. Tuesday in north Minneapolis died Wednesday of her injuries at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, police said.

She was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of West Broadway and Sheridan Avenue N. The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, police said.

A man who was hit by a vehicle about 4 p.m. Monday at Hawthorne Avenue S. and 11th Street S. died Tuesday at Hennepin County Medical Center. The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police.

Alcohol and drugs were not a factor in either crash, police said.

The Hennepin County medical examiner will release the names of the victims after autopsies.
