Relatives are intensifying their search in and around Red Wing, Minn., for a western Wisconsin mother of two who was last seen socializing with friends late last week.

Marya Christiansen, 23, who lives with her boyfriend and her children across the Mississippi River near Hager City, Wis., was heading back home about 2:30 a.m. Saturday and hasn't been seen since.

Also missing is her 2006 white Dodge Caravan van, with Wisconsin license plate 443VPF. Authorities on both sides of the border said they have yet to detect any social media or financial transactions by her.

The Pierce County Sheriff's Office in Wisconsin said an extensive search on land and in the water on Sunday turned up nothing.

Red Wing police said that after leaving the bar, Christiansen and the others went to a friend's house in town. Christiansen then left on her own, police added.

The woman's father, Steve Christiansen, said Tuesday that Marya "would never disappear like this. She's been doing very well." He said she was working at Best Maid Cookie Co. in River Falls, Wis.

Christiansen is described as white, 5 feet 2 and 150 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. She has distinctive tattoos on her inner forearms: a winged ribbon with "Grandma" inscribed on one arm and a tiger's head on the other. She was last seen wearing a red short-sleeve shirt, black leggings and black boots.

The family is organizing search efforts through a Facebook page called "Please help us find Marya Christiansen."

Anyone with information is urged to contact Red Wing police at 651-385-3155 or call 911.
