The woman who died in a two-vehicle crash in Wright County has been identified as the grandmother of the two little boys who were with her in the car.

Susan J. Williams, 52, of Annandale, failed to yield at a rural intersection and was killed in a collision with a pickup truck early Monday, according to the State Patrol. The crash occurred just after 7 a.m. roughly halfway between South Haven and Annandale at Hwy. 55 and Oliver Avenue.

Brothers Colten Baxley, 4, and Brock Baxley, 1, both of Annandale, were taken to St. Cloud Hospital and treated and released.

The pickup driver, Scott W. Thompson, 62, of South Haven, went to the same hospital with noncritical injuries.

All four people in the two vehicles were wearing the proper restraint devices, the patrol said.
