A 23-year-old woman who was found shot in a parked car in south Minneapolis has died.
Police on routine patrol heard shots shortly before 2 a.m. Monday and discovered the wounded woman in a car on the 2800 block of 15th Avenue S. A 39-year-old man in the car also had been shot and was dead when police arrived.
The woman was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where she died Monday night.
The Hennepin County medical examiner will release the identities of the man and woman and the cause of death.
No arrests have been made.
